  • Are you a concierge or VIP practice?

    We are a Direct Primary Care practice, although the terms Direct Primary Care and concierge medicine are often used interchangeably. You could consider us a concierge or VIP medical practice, as all of our patients are VIP’s, but without the high price tag. We provide a concierge or VIP level of service, but strive to make things affordable for people of all incomes, with or without insurance.

  • Are there any long-term contracts or commitments?

    Membership is on a month-to-month basis and requires NO LONG-TERM CONTRACTS OR COMMITMENTS. You can cancel at any time, for any reason, and there are no cancellation fees.

  • What if I decide to cancel? Refunds?

    If you wish to cancel your membership, just send us a message thru the Patient Portal. Your membership benefits will continue until the end of your current monthly term, after which it will be cancelled. There are no refunds of the monthly retainer ("membership") fee.

  • If I cancel my membership, can I rejoin at a future date?

    Patients are always welcome to rejoin our family. At Infinium Med's discretion, there may be a re-enrollment fee of $150 per individual. Because we limit the number of patients in the practice, we cannot guarantee there will be an opening if you wish to re-join at a later date.

  • Can I add additional family members to my billing account?

    Yes, absolutely! Spouses, partners, dependent children (ages 10 to 25 years old) and parents of enrolled children can be added or removed from your billing account at any time. Each patient will have his or her individual medical record.

  • Are there any income or health guidelines for becoming a member?

    No, we do NOT have any income or health guidelines to become a member. Our fees are the same regardless of income, insurance arrangement, level of health, or utilization of our services.

  • Can I just have an office visit without becoming a member?

    No, you must be a become a member to receive care at Infinium Med. However, we are happy to schedule your free, no obligation, 30-minute “Meet & Greet" appointment, which provides you with an opportunity to meet with us, see our office, and answer any question you may have. If we are not the "right fit” for you, that’s totally fine; the traditional model may be a better choice for you. Later, if you decide you want to give us a try, we will be here waiting for you (granted there are openings, as we limit the number of patients in the practice).


  • Are there any hidden fees?

    No. We believe in total cost transparency and provide a majority of your care without any fees at all! Any ancillary fees (i.e. medications, supplements, labs, diagnostic imaging) not included are provided at our cost and their prices and relevance to your care are fully discussed with you in advance. Now thats true cost transparency!

  • What about lab work and other testing?

    If laboratory tests are needed, Infinium performs, at no additional charge, blood draws and sample collection in our office, which will be sent out to one of our approved laboratories. Patient may pay us directly for their laboratory tests, which will be provided to you at substantially discounted rates or you may choose to use your insurance, in which case, the laboratory will directly bill the your insurance (please note some specialty laboratory tests may not be covered by your insurance).

  • What about medications? Supplements?

    You are always welcome to have your prescription sent to a pharmacy of your choice, just as you're used to. All members have access to "wholesale" medications and professional-grade supplements. We purchase them "wholesale" and pass down the savings to you.

  • Can I get a discount on my monthly membership fee if I don't use it or use it infrequently?

    No. Like a health club membership, services are at your disposal whenever you need them, even at times that you cannot predict.

  • What is covered and not covered by the retainer ("membership") fee?

    First, please understand that Infinium Med is not an insurance company or does it provide insurance policies or services. Please see your Medical Retainer Agreement and Appendix A - Scope of Services for specific details.

  • Is the retainer ("membership") fee tax deductible?

    Unfortunately, no. Your monthly membership fee is not yet defined as a "medical expense" in most states and, as such, is not deductible. However, the American Academy of Private Physicians is lobbying hard to win rightful deductibility for these expenses. In the meanwhile, consult your tax consultant to clarify tax consequences in your particular circumstance




  • Are you a walk-in clinic? Do I need an appointment?

    No, we are NOT a walk-in clinic. Although there is no fee for office or virtual (phone, video) visits, we require appointments for all visits.

  • How long are the doctor visits?

    New patient visits are typically 60-90 minutes, while follow-ups typicall are 30-60 minutes depending complexity of your medical issues. Your Physician will determine the appropriate amount of time to address your concerns and give you the time you deserve. No rushed appointments here at Infinium Med.

  • What if I have a medical emergency?

    If you feel it is a life threatening emergency, call 911. After that call your Primary Care Physician. Please let us know at your next visit or via the portal when convenient and appropriate.



Health Insurance

  • As a member of Infinium Med, do I still need health insurance?

    We think yes, but it is not a requirement to become a member of Infinium Med. Direct Care is not an insurance plan nor a substitute for health insurance. We recommend patients continue to carry a major medical plan for specialist care, hospitalizations, and other expensive, unanticipated health costs. You should consult your insurance agent or provider to help you find a plan that works best with your situation and that will meet your specific needs.

  • If I have Medicare, can I still join Infinium Med?

    Yes, however your monthly membership fee and other fees CANNOT be submitted to Medicare for reimbursement. This is part of the Medical Retainer Agreement for Medicare patients. Due to current federal laws (work is currently in progress to change this law), medications, labs, and diagnostic imaging cannot be submitted to Medicare. However, our wholesale prices are typically less expensive than going through Medicare.

  • Can I use my health insurance elsewhere if I join Infinium Med?

    In most cases, yes. Your health insurance plans will continue to operate as usual at other doctors' offices, hospitals, pharmacies, imaging facilities, labs, etc.
