Integrative Medicine Consultations

Chronic Diseases

A Completely Different Approach

Despite the many technological advances in modern medicine and spending more healthcare dollars than any other developed country, we are experiencing an increase in the number of Americans who suffer from some type of chronic, on-going illness. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) reports 7 out of 10 deaths among Americans each year are from chronic illnesses, with heart disease, stroke, and cancer accounting for than 50% of all deaths each year. Chronic illness affects everyone, either personally or through the suffering of someone close to them. At Infinium Med, we take a completely different approach to helping our patient suffering with chronic health conditions.

Who Are our Patients?

Integrative Medicine consultations are for those patients who already have (and want to keep) their primary care physician, but would like a second opinion or different approach for their specific symptoms and health issues. It has been our experience that patients who do best under our care:

  • Take personal-responsibility for their on-going health and well-being.

  • Are motivated to play an active role in their own healing process.

  • Are willing to make the necessary dietary and lifestyle modifications to support their health and well-being.

  • Are interested in discovering the underlying cause of their problems, rather than just treating and suppressing their symptoms.

Please understand, an integrative medicine consultation is not about simply replacing your medications with herb, that’s still just managing symptoms. It’s about working with you to identify and treat the root cause of your condition, while addressing the whole you, with diet and lifestyle being the cornerstone of your health and wellness.
